I did; thks for the nudge! Yes, I've been listening all week, as I've been saying, and I wanna do my bit for Rhino...I see them as the pinnacle of corporate greed, and when my ol Avant Guard friends from the Haight snucked in and took those pics of long haired, tied dyed scranny seniors chained to their poly vinyl chloride vats (what do they make CDs out of these days?), with faceless Masters whipping them into a cardboard manufactoing frenzy, I couldn't help but support this All American System!

Seriously--I dont buy enough stuff with my early era restrictions, so I am psyched!

I buy plenty of 'stuff' just not CD's - 4 kids (two teens) require lots of 'stuff' (including vast quantities of food).

Anyway, I digress - the wife treats her $20 cds with less respect I give my $0.50 burned AUDs - and when they end up trashed after a few months just buys new ones. Well I never needed any savings before, why start now?

Jeeezzzz! My middle son is back home for a bit and our food budget tripled (it seems)! And then he plays ball and works out for THREE hrs, and has to eat even more!? Where's the sense?

I ordered as well. The last several GD releases have not had much appeal to me so I also figure when they do pitch one that is in my strike zone, i better take a swing. I think I am ready for baseball season.

It always makes me a little sad to see another nice board disappear from the Archive, but this snippet really sounds great, and I'll be happy to purchase a nice clean copy of this amazing show.

The release is the full concert and the bonus disc is part of the night before. If my memory serves correctly this is the 3rd full concert in the last 5 RT releases which suggests that Rhino/GDP might be responding to the requests of the listeners.

2-2 had the 2-14-68 concert
3-1 had the 12/79 concert
3-2 has 11-15-71

I know 2-3 was not a full concert, I just don't remember if 2-4 ('93) was.

Someone has to do one of those "off release lists" for 68-71 (thank you very much!) in a post here; I know CLIFF likes to complain (!...jk, sharkman!) about what's released, BUT frankly, on my 71 kick of late, I have ALOT to choose from! I think I'll send Rhino a big fat thank you note, and include a lock of sharkskin as a token...and of course, 70 and 69 have a fair bit of material for me already...sure, I can be greedy--it's a great feeliing!

Dude. Just listened to the dead.net stream and it's pretty stunning.

I plan to have a "listening party" of my own in my dorm room with a couple buddies once this arrives in the mail...

The only thing that rocks more than that NFA>GDTRFB>NFA is that you called me dude.

Have fun rocking the dorm with your buddies.
